B09K: Lunar Practices

Lunar Practices 是由B09k空间于2022年9月25日发起的一个项目。项目遵循月球的运动周期，在每一个新月会有一位艺术家，诗人或设计师占领空间外部的广告牌。在每天日落时（中国UTC+8），广告牌将会被点亮。

Lunar Practices is a project initiated on September 25, 2022 by B09k. The project follows the cycle of the moon’s movement and on each new moon an artist, poet or designer will occupy a billboard outside the bookstore. The billboards will be lit at sunset (UTC+8) every day.

这是一个仍持续中的项目，项目所邀请的艺术家活动于欧洲，他们通过广告牌，一片月球的土地，与中国的观众交流。

This is an ongoing project that invites artists based in Europe to communicate with the Chinese audience through the billboards, a piece of lunar land.

项目回应Lukas Feireiss的故事集“Memories of the Moon age”， 书中收录了在人类在1969年登上月球前有关月球的叙事， 这些故事让我们看到世界不同文化对于月球的想象。

The project responds to Lukas Feireiss’s collection of stories “Memories of the Moon age”, which contains narratives about the Moon before man landed on it in 1969, and which give us a glimpse of how different cultures around the world have imagined the Moon.

这次在香蕉鱼的空间中展示了Lunar Practices项目自开始以来18位艺术家的作品，这些艺术家的作品集合成一本可以拆卸的书，像是一本月球的日历，每件作品都可以揭下来带走。我们邀请遥望相同的月亮的你，来香蕉鱼一起来分享这些故事。

The exhibition at BANANAFISH showcases the work of 18 artists since the beginning of the Lunar Practices program, which has been assembled into a book that can be disassembled, like a lunar calendar, so that each piece can be removed and taken away.
We invite you, who are looking at the same moon from afar, to come to BANANAFISH and share these stories.
